Game Inactives | Week 9 Titans at Steelers
The Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers will both be without some key players when they meet on Thursday Night Football in Week 9.
Titans inactives:
- QB Ryan Tannehill
- WR Colton Dowell
- OL Chris Hubbard
- DL Jaleel Johnson
- LB Caleb Murphy
- CB Roger McCreary
Steelers inactives:
- QB Mason Rudolph (emergency third QB)
- T Dylan Cook
- NT Breiden Fehoko
- NT Armon Watts
- S Minkah Fitzpatrick
Tannehill is the most notable inactive for the Titans. He is nursing an ankle injury that he suffered in Week 8. The Titans will start backup quarterback Malik Willis in his place.
Hubbard is also a big loss for the Titans offensive line. He is one of the team's best pass blockers. The Titans will likely start Andre Dillard at right tackle in his place.
Fitzpatrick is the most notable inactive for the Steelers. He is one of the best safeties in the NFL. The Steelers will likely start Terrell Edmunds in his place.
Cook is also a big loss for the Steelers offensive line. He is one of the team's best run blockers. The Steelers will likely start Joe Haeg at right tackle in his place.
The Titans and Steelers are both 3-4 heading into Week 9. Both teams are in need of a win to stay in the playoff race. The inactives for both teams will make it more difficult for them to win.
